About Me

Hi, I'm Amy and I am, and always have been, an avid dog lover. I spent most of my life in Canada, where lovable canines were always a major part of my day to day. I had two very special pups - Paul & Jetson - who were the loves of my life and pushed me to explore every avenue to spending more time with dogs. Though I worked as an accountant throughout my adulthood, my passion has always been with my other side jobs. Here are a few examples:

 

• I ran a boarding and training company where I engaged in daily off-leash pack adventures

• I founded and oversaw a successful raw organic dog food business

• I fostered over 50 dogs through local rescue organizations

 

After moving to New Zealand, I decided to fulfill my dream of taking care of dogs full-time. And I've been busy! Here's what I've been up to:

 

• I worked at a local doggie daycare

• I started fostering through Saving Hope Foundation

• I've been boarding dogs at my house and in owner's homes

• Last but not least, I've been doing plenty of pack walks!

Today I run Tail Blazers, which allows me to explore the landscapes of my new home with a dog - or several - by my side.
